Winter weather changes to on-campus operations remain in place today, with normal hours resuming tomorrow (January 16). More info at gkwb.ngskmc-eis.net/emergency.
The following changes have been made to University facilities on Monday:
- Coates Library opens at noon and closes at midnight.
- The Bell Athletic Center opens at noon and closes at 11 p.m.
- Coates Student Center opens at noon and closes at 8 p.m.
Dining services will be available in Mabee Dining Hall beginning at 10 a.m., and other dining locations normally functional on weekends and holidays will open at noon.

Trinity will continue to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day, with no classes held and offices closed on Monday. San Antonio’s Martin Luther King Jr. March has been canceled.
Friday, January 12
Trinity University’s Crisis Management Team (CMT) is monitoring the potential for inclement weather conditions beginning the afternoon of Sunday, January 14, and into the morning of Monday, January 15. During this time, please exercise caution due to the potential for icy conditions on campus walkways, roadways, and when traveling off-campus.
Trinity will continue to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day, with no classes held and offices closed on Monday.

Students should consider grabbing an extra portion of fruit or other sustenance on Sunday evening, should they need a meal before 10 a.m. on Monday. Trinity’s participation in the Martin Luther King Jr. March on Monday is still being assessed. Any changes or notifications to March participation will be sent by Sunday evening directly to registered participants.

Winter weather conditions may have a greater impact north and west of San Antonio and Bexar County. Employees and students who may need to travel to campus should exercise caution and use good independent judgment regarding their own safety and the safety of those around them. Please offer grace and understanding to members of our Trinity community who may be more severely impacted by weather-related issues. Tune in to your local weather services or visit the National Weather Service website for the latest weather updates.
Finally, a reminder that stairs, walkways, and roadways/lots across campus may become icy, particularly on elevated surfaces. Students and employees living and/or working on campus should limit outdoor activity and proceed with caution.
